Make A Wish part 2

Welcome to Day 1 and 2... I am having to break these up because I literally took over 1,000 pictures... But hey, it was Baker's first trip!! ;) The top picture is Baker's chair with his Give Kids the World Button... this is THE button to have at Disney cause we got Celebrity treatment everywhere we went!!! And since we are so forgetful, we put it on his chair so we wouldn't leave it!! Worked perfectly!! 

Ready for Disney... Day one!!!!!! 

My FAVORITE VIEW!!! It always gets me super pumped for the day!!! 

This is Baker's FIRST view of the Castle!!! And he is saying, "WOW!" And from out looks... it was FREEZING!!! The wind was crazy... Even the workers said it isn't normally that cold! But we still loved it!! 

Here is Baker, about to load up on the Buzz Lightyear ride... One of the few that he actually rode and was wheelchair friendly...

Needless to say, he didn't shoot, he just looked and watched!! HA!! The next picture proves that statement!!

Actually riding Dumbo... I was pretty disappointed that the NEW dumbo wasn't wheelchair friendly... :(  And after that ride, Derek said NEVER again... It is way to much trouble getting him in and out of his chair fast enough for the ride people...

This is the product of the end of the first day... HA!! He was pooped!!! Thankfully his Nana was pretty pooped herself and offered to come back with us and watch him in the room so that Derek and I could go back and enjoy some of the other rides...

 Isn't the Castle Beautiful??? This is actually the side of the castle... we were walking around.

 And this picture is just perfect... My husband told me to take this picture and I am glad he did!! 

And the next picture is looking back at the castle from the entrance... Beautiful!!! And yes... that is snow from the Christmas Party!!

Day 2: Islands of Adventure... Which I might add was a HUGE disappointment for us.  Baker could do NOTHING!!!!!! Thankfully they had the Grinchmas musical, cause that was litterally all that we did... Now, let me add the one exception... HOGWARTS!!!! Anyone that knows me knows I Love Harry Potter books, movies, etc... So I was pretty excited about this!! Last time we were at Disney, the Hogwarts opened the week after we left...

The next two pictures are of Baker looking and watching the merry-go-round that wasn't wheelchair friendly... The only way that he could have road this was if we got him into a regular wheelchair and him sit unassisted... I literally cried after this... And wanted to leave... right then. But we decided to keep walking around and found that the Grinchmas was fixing to start...

And since we had the express pass thing, we walked right into the front row and within 5 minutes, the show started!!

Ok... Now for the BEST part of the day... HOGWARTS!!! This place looked so real, it was amazing!!! 

 The train master... He was so good!! And took up a pretty good minute with Baker. Told him not to let us practice spells on him cause he knew a boys who grew dog ears and drank from the toilet! HA!

Yes, Baker is playing with my plastic fork... He thought he was big... 

And this was my plate... Thankfully Dayton helped me eat half of it!! HA!! 

 

 Just a picture of the castle... Inside the castle is the BEST ride EVER... And even if you have to wait in line for 2 hours... do it!!! It is worth looking at all the stuff in the castle and the ride!! We actually went back one night and rode it twice in less than 30 minutes thanks to our fast pass!! 

Ollivanders... Wow... enough said!!! If you want a want, this is the place... and I suggest going in through the front door... and there is usually a line, but there is a show and they pick one person from the group to find their wand... Well worth it... Again, thank you Fast Pass!!!

Make a wish... Part 1

Well... Are you ready for a picture overload?? Well get ready, this is just the beginning! I have tons of pictures for you to see but I am gonna start with the place that we stayed!!! Give Kids the World Resort... it is a WONDERFUL place and we can't wait to go back to visit!!

This is our ride for the week!! It was SO nice and made me want to buy it!! HA!! The gas was amazing... $85.50 to get from Orlando to Home!! Yep... Amazing!!

Another view with the tv... Derek was happy that he was able to watch tv and fall asleep... me on the other hand, was not very excited!! :)

Notice all the Christmas Cheer!!! It was there when we got there... Which made it special cause Santa had a tree to put the presents under!! 

This is Baker's bathroom... And yes, I used this tub... once or twice!! HA!!

Those above are of the ice cream Palace... where you can get ice cream... anytime!! Even breakfast!!!

The Castle of Hearts...

This was on top of one of the buildings... with the train station and put put golf...

 The Gingerbread house... The eating place.

And all the stuffed animals inside!! 

 

All those are stars of children who have had wishes to go to Disney... Amazing huh... of this is maybe a 10th of all the stars in the Castle!!! 

Baker LOVED this trash can!!! It would suck the trash from your hands!! 

Good Bye Villa 186!!! 

We went back to check out Baker's Star... See it??? It says Baker Man and will be there forever!!! 

And this is the golf cart that I want Derek to build for Baker!!! :) He LOVED riding in it!!!

Disney Send off Party

 I am pretty sure that I already posted our count down to Disney, but we are back and had a BLAST!!! You would have thought we were famous people with all the special treatment we got!! 4 Days before we left we had Baker a send off party... Just something to get all the family and friends together. We rented the skating rink cause it is usually a place that we can put Baker in and he will just drive all around. But this time he decided to turn up his speed and was Zooming around... which of course scared me... not for him but for all the other kids skating or riding toys!!!

This is his Cake Table... I saw the table idea on pinterest... I think it was supposed to be red on bottom but Oh well... still looks cute!! :)

And this was his cake!! And it was SO yummy!!! 

 This is some decoration... and our countdown... Down to 4 days!!! I was really lucky... I borrowed all the bowls and decorations from 2 people! So thanks Mere and Connie!!

This was his send off bucket that Derek and I made for him to use on the road!
