Halloween 2012

 Happy Halloween from Buzz Lightyear!!! Hard to believe that is is already November, but this year has been amazing so far! I did want to brag on Baker's spaceship that my husband worked very hard on! I showed him a picture of a toy spaceship and this is what he cam up with!! Simply Amazing! 

 I will say that the wings were straight... until Baker started driving and hit the bushes. He literally was in if less than 3 minutes and Boom... At least they stayed for the night!!

 I was pretty proud of this picture!! All of us looking at the camera!! HA!! Derek and I had a WONDERFUL night just watching Baker ride around!! 

 If you notice the back, there are 3 boosters and it was hard to get a real picture of Baker and the "Fire" from the blastoff in the same picture! This is the best I got!! 

Just a Few pictures at Trunk or Treat

 This next picture was Great!! Mike was a robot and had flashing lights, and shot candy out!!

And this just cracks me up!!! Gotta love Taylor!!

Disney World Countdown

Today begins our countdown to Disney World!!! Baker was so excited to pull the first tab off the countdown board... 49 Days and Counting!!!!

I Love my countdown board... I still haven't wrote on the last pin yet, but I think it is very cute!! And it is Great Fine Motor skills... pinching the cloths pin!! ;) Not to mention it was SUPER easy!! I traced bowls and my husband used a jigsaw to cut around it. A little paint, and my cricut font, Waltograph (downloaded from Dafont.com) and TaDa!!!

Baker is very excited for his Make-A-Wish Trip, and So am I!! Not only because Disney is the BEST place ever, but because I know how much Baker will love it!!! And I can't wait to see his face when he experiences it all!!!

Tooth Fairy Time

 Yep... You heard correctly... Baker lost his First Tooth!! I couldn't believe it when his nurse called me to tell me!! I knew the tooth fairy was NOT ready!!! So we had to make do with that we had!!! 

 

My cousin's little girl had just lost her tooth the day before and told me all about how the Tooth Fairy left fairy dust all in her bed and on her window, and she was excited for Baker to have some fairy dust too, so fairy dust he got!!!  Just not in his bed! And yes... to Tooth Fairy didn't have any change, so, Lucky Baker!!!

Oh, and I wanted to share Baker's 1st school pictures!! I can't believe he did so good for them!! But I heard that his crazy teacher stood behind the camera and made a crazy sound!!! (Thanks Carrie)

Make A Wish

Well we are SO EXCITED to announce that Baker's Make-A-Wish is finally coming true!!! We will be spending Christmas with the animals at Animal Kingdom!!! So Disney, the Mitchell's will be there soon!! 

Baker got his wish token in the mail the other day!! It is good for one wish only!!  And there was a Buzz Lightyear stamp!! Baker, of course, loved that!!!

And here is the card that they sent him! It has all his Friends from Make-A-Wish!! 

And as you can tell, Baker is READY for Disney!!! 

HUGE thanks to the McGuire's for the Mickey Ears!!! They just got back and brought Baker a present which helped get him excited to go!! And to be honest... I think I am just as excited ... if not more excited than anyone!!!

Playing Catch-Up

Well lots of new things going on in the household!!! Derek and his buddy finally started their new business. And are doing very good! Staying busy and able to be home at night!!! Which Baker and I LOVE!! Also, I started working at Becky's Kinder Kollege some and I am loving it! I only wish that Baker was able to grow up at BKK!!! But, he has started the preschool program at the elementary school... And LOVES it! He still doesn't like to color but we are working on that!! 

Here is Baker on his first Day of preschool!! He wasn't feeling the early morning wake up call!! HA!! But Once he saw the bus... he was ready!!! 

And here is me and my baby!! I can't believe that we have been so blessed these last 4 years!!! And so excited for his future!!!

Poor Nurse Christy!! He is the best!! It would rain on the first day of school and the bus can't come on your driveway... Bless her!!!

And here is Baker at his new table! We love it so much!! It even tilts!! And please let me add that he was actually playing with the playdough!!! Normally he hates anything that is messy on his hands... But since everyone else was playing I guess he wanted to too!!! 

And this is Baker's Buddy and cousin, Parker. Parker is taking care of him for me at school!! ;) 

I am so proud of Baker!!! He is doing better coloring and really working hard trying to learn. Even though he doesn't want to learn his colors!! HA but he loves school and loves being around children! The other day, he even got to get out of his chair and swing in the handicap swing!!! Wish I had pictures of that!!! :)

Summer 2012

 Well... This summer we haven't really had any big plans other than Vent Camp... but we have had lots of fun! Birthday Parties, Fireworks, swimming, and just family stuff! So here are some pictures for you to see what all we have been up to!! I hope that you enjoy!! 

First pictures are from Kade's Birthday Party at the skating rink... We love parties there cause we can take Baker into the rink... and let him go!! He loves to follow people around!! Ha!!

Me and my Bake Man!!! 

The next few pictures are from Kidz Kamp. The Local Khelpanan Society (which I am a member of) does this every summer as a fund raiser and we had a GREAT turn out this year. You will see the Raptor Program from Auburn University came... But due to the shooting in Auburn, they didn't bring any eagles... :( But they brought lots of owls and other birds!!

And here are the ladies that did the program and 2 of the owls...

From there they went and painted an owl... Baker sure isn't like his mother... He does not like to do crafts... Me, on the other hand, would go broke doing crafts and paintings!!! Thankfully his nurse was able to go with us!!

Then we went outside and Baker made some new friends!! Sweet little Abbie Grace!! 

 This picture is funny, but Alan was up top calling Baker's name and Baker thought it was the coolest thing!!!

Then all the kids went outside for a little Mentos and Diet Coke action!! 

The last few pictures are from Fourth of July... We had a big swimming party with family at the house but I didn't get any pictures from that... or not of Baker!! But that evening we went to a friends house and shot fireworks!!! Baker's first firework show and he LOVED it!!! We even let him play with the sparklers... just had to be mindful of his plastic tubing with the sparks!!

So, as you can see, we have had a pretty good summer!!! Lots of pool time and family time!!! Just they way it should be!!! I was blessed by getting to go to Camp Wiregrass one week... It was so much fun getting to get back into my childhood and be a mentor to all the little girls that were in my cabin and in bible class with me!! I already am looking forward to next year!!!
